Hayden and Mason’s Favorites for 2010

Lynn: Our focus group, Hayden and Mason, my 7-year-old grandsons, work hard for us all year testing books and giving us their opinions. So it’s only fair that they get to list their top favorites of the year too. They are growing up fast so they have chosen a wide range of books but they still love picture books. These are strictly their choices, gathered by looking through our piles of books and past blog entries. They are clearly related to me because they had a really hard time narrowing the number to ten. Since there are two of them I figured it was only fair to give them a couple of extra choices. The books are listed alphabetically.

Hayden and Mason, Your list is awesome. You two have great taste. Thanks for sharing your opinions with us and our readers. I wish I could have seen the deliberation process for this list!

My 6 year old asked for only one book for Christmas: Knufflebunny Free. She got it (and some others!) along with a Knufflebunny stuffed animal. She’s in love too
