Cindy and Lynn: We are lucky enough to get boxes of advanced reader copies on an almost daily basis. They delight us–and sometimes overwhelm us as the to-be-read piles grow so high that it is difficult to see our spouses across the room. But this post on editor Sharyn November’s Facebook page this morning made us really appreciate the power of story…and of friendship.
Don’t miss this article and video about how a terminally ill teen is cheered when his friend helps him read the last book in a favorite series before it is too late. Here’s to good friends who step up, to publishers who come through more times than they are ever given credit, and to authors who go above and beyond. We’re verklempt.
